UK Fine are a Franchise operation near Dartford and run over 40 fast food outlets.

Their existing freezer room was too small for their needs and more space was required to allow continued expansion

Coldspace were asked to provide a cold room solution that maximised the height available in an already tight space within the clients existing warehouse, which needed to accommodate at least 300 frozen food pallets

The new room is 35m long, 10m wide and follows the existing ceiling line of the building from 6m to 9m high

The freezer is operating at -22 C, with the chiller section at +2 C, fire rated panels were used throughout for insurance purposes

The main sliding doors are 2m x 3m (h) with a 800mm x 2000mm (h) hinged personnel door as an emergency exit.

The freezer has four independent refrigeration systems for back up and utilises low energy scroll compressor technology to minimise running costs.

LED lighting was fitted throughout to give maximum lighting levels, longevity and low operating costs.
